Re: Solar FREAKING Roadways

I suppose you're right. I remember once this city tried to control traffic at different times by opening up certain lanes going east at certain times, and west at other times. The idea was sound, when people leave work you open up more lanes going east, more going west in the mornings, but as you ca...

Re: Solar FREAKING Roadways

Using LEDs during the day is madness. You'd be better with eInk type of technology - it's not like you change lane configuration that often. As with most innovations in the road space though, the real key to any of this is the liability and insurance. "The road malfunctioned" makes one hell of a la...

Probably just me, but I've sort of lost interest this season. Still watching, but not looking forward to it every week like I was. :dontknow:

Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Exactly. My biggest bitch about it in the beginning was that it was too kid gloved (Followed closely by the fact that they didn't have any super anything :tard: ). Once they started kicking it up a bit things got great. P.S. Did anyone else catch the bit about May's age? Freakin ageless Azn's....

Re: EverQuest Next - Landmark Alpha

Once you get better tools, I might have a spare pick and axe to hand you, things will speed up. Meh, it's not a big deal. I'm not going to get super involved right now. I'm looking forward to when we start killing stuff. I am curious if they are ever going to make gravity/physics a thing? Right now...

Re: EverQuest Next - Landmark Alpha

I got a flag & staked a claim, but didn't know what I was doing so I buried it in the ground. Then spent like 2 hours hollowing out a giant hole in the ground. I think I'm gonna start over. I at least have an idea of what I'm doing. I hope there is some way to eventually automate or speed up t...

Still no idea what I'm doing exactly, but I did get on the Serenity server just because it was listed here. I'm Vastlee, but no idea what that means. 8)

Supposedly, which would have been fine had they not left 11ty unanswered things going on with like 4 story lines in place.

Re: True Detective

I agree that it's a favorite. And it's so fucking awesome. (Sorry, I'm cussing a lot lately.) It's probably in my top 10 if not top 5 series of all time. Lulu time, that is. Are both leads coming back next season? I wonder? This show isn't going to work w/o the both of them. Isn't the show supposed...

Went into it with extremely low expectations, and while I wasn't blown away, it was better than I thought. Enough that I'll see the 2nd episode.

Re: 7 Days To Die

I got behind a few builds, but the new Alpha 8 build is pretty impressive. They made all the terrain smooth. No more Minecraft look. The new crafting system is freaking amazing too. Game continues to get better. Switching stuff in your hands is more realistic too. It isn't instant. Devs are doing it...

Re: Fargo

I haven't watched the second episode yet, but the first was good. I just have one gripe; as a Minnesota girl who grew up in Duluth and the Iron Range around many Lutheran-Swede-Potluck Hotdish types, they got really lazy with the campy MN accent. They did a much better job in the movie, but in this...

Was really impressed with the first episode, but thought it might peter out. After watching the 2nd episode I think this show is legit interesting.

There's a point to that, but the potential revenue from the show (if done well) is immense. I mean look at the opening numbers. 5 is some GoT level shit. MEGA bucks.

It's too bad the show sucked so much donkey dong in the beginning. The bleeding appears to have stopped, but it isn't shooting up.
